Integrations

Consume LeadEdge signals from your existing bot stack. The signal format is plain JSON over WebSocket and REST — works with any language or framework. The templates below get you from API key to live signals in a few minutes.

leadedge-examples

MIT

Official templates and integration examples. Free tier works for everything except real-time delivery.

Python — REST & WebSocket

Available

The base examples: a one-shot REST check, a minimal WebSocket consumer, a production consumer with reconnect and heartbeat monitoring, REST polling, and a CSV history export. The fastest way to wire LeadEdge into anything.

Freqtrade

Available

A drop-in IStrategy template that consumes signals over WebSocket on a background thread. Validated in dry-run across ETH, BTC, and LINK, both long and short — full trade lifecycle and PnL.

freqtrade_strategy.py

Freqtrade is candle-based (~5s loop), so it's ideal for consuming signals, paper-testing, and slower strategies. Capturing the sub-second edge needs an event-driven setup.

Hummingbot

Available

The event-driven path — it opens a barrier-managed PositionExecutor the moment a signal arrives, the better technical fit for capturing the lead/lag window. Validated on the Binance Futures testnet with confirmed fills in both directions.

leadedge_signal_strategy.py

A reference integration, not a turnkey bot — capturing the edge needs the real-time (Pro) signal plus low-latency execution. Test on testnet first.

Any framework

Open format

Signals are standard JSON with leader move, predictions, and — once resolved — the actual outcome. No SDK required. NautilusTrader, Backtrader, QuantConnect, or your own code all work the same way. See the full schema in the docs.

Which path fits

  • →Testing the integration: the free tier and REST examples work out of the box (30-second delayed signals).
  • →Slower or signal-aware strategies: the Freqtrade template, run in dry-run, is the quickest start.
  • →Capturing the edge live: real-time WebSocket delivery (Pro) plus an event-driven executor — the follower window is measured in tens to hundreds of milliseconds.
